Mission Statement
Salford LIDS strives to bring to ordinary people the information and tools that will enable them to move forward with their lives, access where they want to go and set course for improvement.
Our mission is to promote 'locally led iniatives and diversify skills'.
Mike Scantlebury writes Action Adventures and Crime Fiction set around the regional centre of Manchester in North West England. He has twenty years experience of working in the voluntary sector, at the sharp end of the charitable movement, where government initiatives meet local government intransigence.
He knows what's happening on the ground, and he can tell you about it - in an entertaining and thrilling way.
His stories move, enlighten and amuse.
He is to be commended for shedding light into dark corners and exposing the iniquities of a system under threat.
